The paper held up beautifully even when I went heavy with water—no buckling at all. The extra-thick Italian sheets have a nice tooth that keeps colors vibrant. Perfect for my weekend sketching practice.

This paper holds up beautifully even when I use a lot of water—the Italian paper is extra thick and doesn’t buckle at all. I’m a beginner, but the texture gives my washes a nice, even flow. Perfect for trying out new techniques without worrying about the page tearing.

I’ve been using this pad for my weekly watercolor sketches, and the Italian paper handles washes really well without buckling too much. The only small thing is that the sheets are a bit smaller than I’d like for larger pieces. Still, a solid choice for practice and travel.
