I love that the pages are sturdy enough for my toddler to turn without tearing, and the story about teamwork really keeps her attention. We've read it three nights in a row now, and she's already pointing out the fish in the illustrations.

My four-year-old asks for this one every single night now—the underwater illustrations are so vivid and unique, they really capture her attention. It's a simple but meaningful story about teamwork that we both enjoy discussing afterward.

I read it cover to cover in one sitting and the chapter on breathing technique actually changed how I do freestyle laps. It's a bit thin on drills for open water swimming, but solid for pool basics.
