    I was pleasantly surprised how well these pencils blend with just a spritz of water—the mushroom artwork on the box is gorgeous too. Using them with the matching pad really brings out the colors.

    The water-soluble effect works nicely for a soft wash, but the pencils themselves feel a bit dry when drawing dry lines. The 24-color range is decent for the price, though I wish the pigments were a touch more vibrant straight out of the box.
