We bought these for our 18-month-old's Easter basket, and the fact that each egg makes a completely different sound keeps her guessing and giggling for way longer than I expected. The wood feels nice and smooth in hand, no rough edges at all.

My toddler is obsessed with these — the wooden eggs feel great in his hands and he loves figuring out that each one makes a totally different sound, from a jingle to a twitter. I appreciate that they’re made of real wood and actually hold up to being thrown around a bit.

My 2-year-old loves shaking the yellow egg that twitters—it's surprisingly delicate for such a sturdy toy. The different sounds keep her guessing, though I wish the beech wood felt a bit smoother on the edges. Still, a solid choice for musical play.
