My little one wore these on a cold walk to school and they actually stayed on her head the whole time, which is a miracle. The gold band is sturdy but not too tight.

The gold headband is really shiny and catches the light nicely, and the leopard print is fun without being too loud. My daughter finds them comfortable, though I wish the band had a bit more padding for longer wear outside.
